The Marker 10.0 TP is a lightweight all mountain binding that’s a great choice for lighter weight skiers, intermediates, and anyone else that doesn’t need a high DIN setting. They use Marker’s Triple Pivot Compact toe piece, which was inspired by their powerful Royal Family bindings. This toe piece design is very low profile, which not only looks great, also helps to reduce weight. The Compact 3 heel piece is also simplistic and lightweight, but has excellent release thanks to Marker’s Intelligent Backward Release technology. While these bindings might not boast the highest DIN range and don’t claim to be a binding for aggressive skiers, they offer an excellent value and consistent performance for intermediate-level skiers. Marker is known for high performance bindings and the 10.0 TP really does continue that trend, just in a more appropriate package for less aggressive skiers. If you feel that you might be too heavy or that your DIN setting will fall outside this range Marker makes a lot of bindings with higher DIN settings, but keep in mind that as you move up in that range the bindings are also going to get heavier. Buying “too much” binding can result in a ski and binding setup that’s unnecessarily heavy and therefor more tiring. The Marker 10.0 TP is refreshingly lightweight and comes with Marker’s extensive experience designing and producing bindings.
